3 Free Instrument Plugins To Download Today That Don't Sound Free
There is no shortage of free audio plugins and instruments available on the internet today but here are three that you might not have, and if you don't, you'll want to add to your toolbox immediately.
The AGML II acoustic guitar plugin from amplesound.com is amazing and it's a little surprising something so great is free. Using it in strum mode may take some getting used to but once you've got it down then you've got the closest thing to your own session guitarist that doesn't get tired and never shows up late.
2. Surge
Surge is a versatile electronic synth made for Windows, Mac AND Linux. Best of all, it's open source so there's no telling what it could be in the future.
3. Alter/Ego
Plogue's Alter/Ego is bananas. You select a voice module, type in some text, play a melody AND IT SINGS IT. Yep, it freaking sings lyrics you type in to melodies you play. Absolute audio witchcraft... in a good way.
